Hi there Im very dissapointed in the service I have recevied ,my car broke down on the 15th of Feb and I cant get it booked into an mg garage in scotland till the 15th April this is 2 months and unacceptable.I have enquired about getting it sent down to England which MG assist is willing to do but I need to ho down and collect it.I stay in Glasgow and I am disabled tho not a mobility car I am also still having to pay for the car whilst being out of pocket for taxis as im unable to walk any distance.I bought this car because it came with a warranty and was assured that I would be well looked after thro the warranty but so far that has not been the case and I am very dissapointed with my purchase.I have owned the car 11 months and it is due a service this month but it wont get it due to not being drivable and that in turn will not keep up my mg assist.I am so distraught about all of this

PERRYS MG PRESTON, I broke down on 30/12/23, phone PERRYS, spoke to a gentleman called Russell and he said he'd check yo see if the service dept was in and then phone me back No phone call back.
My car a MG ZS EXCLUSIVE would not start so dye to the lack of response I phoned the AA who came and started my car.
The AA man stated it was the twelve vote battery and also the key fob battery was very low he also said to ask for a uodste on the cars system, he also said get ut to Perry's as soon as possible because the same thing will happen again.
Phoned Perry's but no service people in and no courtesy car available ring back on Jan 2nd 2024 which I did again no courtesy car as they're booked 6 weeks in advance, also there was no slots to April for my repairwas no one available to pick my car up and take it to Perry's?, and if I took it to them, I would have to make my own way home to ST ANNES.
This is an appalling service to a customer with a car in warranty, I was passed from pillar to post and even given the recovery phone number?, what use was that to me.
Was also told to ring MG @ Chorley which I did they had a slot on the 26th Jan for 1 hr unfortunately I have just been diagnosed with Cronic kidney disease so have an appointment at the hospital.
Perry's MG Preston customer service is appalling no help whatsoever, was also given the email address of Customer services at MG UK , sent an email explaining all the above and got a reply saying take it up with Perry's MG PRESTON , they read my email I think but didn't help at all, was originally given the email address of Customer. service @mg com by Perry's when the email address is Customer.servuce@***.co.uk, they don't even know their own companies email address.
When my car eventually goes in and is repaired I will be selling it owing to the appalling service offered to me.
Noting that when you ring Perry's and whilst your waiting to be connected a lady tells you ask for a courtesy car but does not tell you about the 6 weeks wait .

General Manager Neil Bianchi asked me to email him after reading my negative review on Google Maps. The reviewer appears to suggest that customers who have acquired pre-owned vehicles from MG Croxdale's Durham branch are unable to post their reviews on the Google Maps...
To my astonishment, the boot's original pure white colour has now transformed into a cream-white shade. I sought professional advice from three independent car body repair garages. Each of them independently confirmed that the issue arises from the use of substandard paint on the boot to conceal the scratches. Consequently, the boot's colour now starkly contrasts with the rest of the vehicle, which retains its original pure white hue.
Regrettably, when I approached MG Croxdale, Durham, I encountered an unsatisfactory response from both the car body repairs representative, Mr. Bob, and the Sales Manager, Mr. Ishmail Miah. Mr.
Bob refused working on paintwork on the car's boot before it was sold to me, despite the clear evidence of a paint-related defect. Mr. Miah was unwilling to investigate the matter, asserting that my car's warranty exclusively covers mechanical faults for a period of 12 months.
In light of this, I contacted MG Motor's customer service, hoping for a resolution to this matter. I was informed that I should liaise with my local MG dealership for further assistance, and if necessary, the dealership would be required to open a technical case in relation to my vehicle.
This process places an undue burden on me, the customer, for a matter that should rightfully be addressed by MG Croxdale, the vendor. I am seeking a prompt and appropriate resolution to this matter. I request that MG Motors UK intervenes in this situation to ensure that I receive the quality of service and product that I am entitled to as a valued customer. On 28th September 2023, I visited the MG showroom to have my BMW inspected by the MG service team due to an ongoing issue with the brakes as my car has a 12 months warranty for mechanical issues.
My car's brakes produce a noticeable squeaking noise when applied on hilly terrain while driving downhill. The brake squeaking noise issue was not resolved after its initial car servicing session (which was on 12th September 2023). Upon my arrival, I was attended to by Mr. Ishmail Miah(same salesman who sold this car).
He asked me to accompany him for a demonstration of the issue by driving my car, to which I readily agreed. After entering my vehicle, Mr. Ishmail began driving within the neighbouring country roads at different speeds. Despite his efforts, Mr.
Ishmail was unable to replicate the aforementioned braking noise. I proceeded to explain that the issue primarily manifests itself on hilly roads and this marked my second visit to your showroom for the same persisting brake-related concern. Unfortunately, Mr. Ishmail's response was deeply distressing and entirely unprofessional.
He retorted with the comment, "You are overthinking Niru," before proceeding to make an offensive gesture by placing his hand to his ear, insinuating a telephone call to a mental hospital. His exact words were- "Hello Mental Hospital." This comment was not only inappropriate but also highly disrespectful and toxic!!! This incident has caused a lot of emotional distress. It made me question if Ishmail's way of conduct was based upon a customer's gender or race.
I believe it is paramount to be treated with dignity, respect, and professionalism. Such derogatory remarks and gestures are wholly unacceptable and create an environment that is not conducive to positive customer experiences. I asked for feedback on the steps taken to prevent such incidents in the future. I am interested to know if there are staff training workshops in place at MG to sensitise your staff about respectful customer interactions?
Does MG have updated policies in place regarding customer treatment and conduct? I would like to know the measures in place to ensure safety of all customers, especially female customers.

Mg iSMART app not working
The phone app has always been a little temperamental but this latest version means I’m unable to charge during the day as the app is stuck with charging over night. The disappointment is the failure of customer services to respond to my e-mails. Is a new version of the...
This means I cannot control the charging. It is currently set to night time charging but I cannot change this to daytime charging and therefore cannot do long journeys that require daytime charging. I did send an e-mail to customer service a week ago but no one has bothered to reply.
I sincerely hope I am more successful this time!

I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding an incident that transpired during my recent visit to MG Croxdale , County Durham ( MG Branch full address : A167, Croxdale, Durham DH6 5HS) on 28th September 2023.

0ur mg hs infotainment system has been playing up for for over 2 years with the sat nav going blank only coming back on when you pressed the home button to reset it our local mg dealer has had it back 3 times since then and done a reset and now they have had it for 2 weeks and sent the system back to mg for a factory reset and it still does not work and w h brand informs us it is going to cost £1500 to fit a new one in as it is only 3years warranty on that item as it started playing up and going wrong before the 3 years was up we are very unhappy with the outcome and feel we should not have to pay for a new item awaiting your reply on this situation. mr j dack

My son and I are both proud owners of new MG4s one of each version. LM23DZO
Both cars are proving to be excellent in commuting and also pottering around.
I have moved from an MX5 and am particularly delighted at the sporty drive available.
Please can I mention just one issue having to turn off the lane assist every time you drive is a real aggravation - compounded by the fact that it turns back on every time you park and when the car switches its head lights on.
We live in the country and the roads are full of potholes like the rest of the UK - fighting the car system every time you make an avoiding manoeuvre is awful.
We frequently pass under trees causing the headlights to turn on and this causes the lane assist disabled system to re activate it even happens under motorway bridges and at night.
Its a real pain is there any chance of a software update.
It would be so much simpler if the drive could simply select on or off.
Please can you help.

I have just purchased a new MG 4EV Trophy extended range car and I am very disappointed with the info system. I would like to disable the lane assist button completely.
But every time I turn off the engine it comes back again which is very annoying. I find it more dangerous than a safety aspect as we live in Cornwall where the roads are narrow and we continually run into white lining which makes my steering wheel judder , which is very disconcerting.
Please could you tell me when MG are going to update the software to alter this , as I gather there are a lot of other people that are unhappy with it and have the same complaint about it.
